Leeza + Nick
The flourishing beauty of the environment this time of year, the time of passion, emotions, and love make SPRING a fabulous time to get married! Sometimes it is enough just to take a look around and observe the beauty of nature surrounding us everywhere. The pink and white Dogwood trees were amazing, the Wisteria hanging, and the red Maple tree were absolutely gorgeous! Along with all the sweet touches Leeza and Nick added it was a perfect day. Their love for each other was as beautiful as the environment!
The guests all loved the menu 3 kinds of PASTA! YUM… the Chicken Marsala and Grilled Salmon were also a huge hit. AND who doesn’t LOVE candy always a favorite favor after a great reception!
John + Abby
Choosing a Sunday for your wedding ceremony and reception often makes economical and logistical sense. It is also a perfect day of the week here at The Carlyle House because we only have one event on that day which lends to lots of flexibility! John and Abby choose this day and it couldn’t have been more perfect. There was not one cloud in the sky! Their guests had a grand time with the full bar, yummy food, and wonderful atmosphere! There was lots of dancing and partying. They were a real fun group and John and Abby were right there with them every step of the way. Congratulations to the happy couple we wish you many years of happiness! XO XO
Angela + Judd
Anyone preparing for a wedding knows that rain is a possibility. We always have a good “plan B” but who really wants to go with that plan when you have a magical outside ceremony planned? Everyone living anywhere close to Atlanta on Saturday knows that it rained all day EXCEPT the small window that allowed Angela & Judd to get married outside! Everything was so green, beautiful, and yes Magical! We are so thankful the terrace dries so quick with a little effort.
Everyone had a blast eating, drinking, and visiting with family and friends! As usual the beef tenderloin was a huge hit. Chef William knows how to cook it just perfect! We also got lots of guests wanting the squash recipe which is always another favorite. Best of luck to the very sweet couple!
Chris + Ashley
It is not taboo to have the rehearsal dinner at the reception site. That is exactly what Ashley and Chris did and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The bride of course kept the decorations as a surprise for the wedding reception. Mixing it up with a Low Country Boil was perfect. Totally opposite of what they did the next night. The food was AMAZING! Everyone had a wonderful time and we loved getting emails on Monday from both sets of parents telling us how awesome the weekend was!
Ashley + Chris
Have a wedding reception and the rehearsal dinner at the same location can simplify both the planning and the flow of the weekend. We really got to know Chris, Ashley, and both sides of the families this weekend. What wonderful, kind, and “FUN” people they all were. They started in the old house with appetizers and cocktails for an hour. The Scallops wrapped with bacon and cold crab meat were two favorites. Flowing down in the ballroom for the reception they had 3 food stations. Most popular as usual was the Beef Tenderloin, Salmon Wellington, and the Smashed Martini Potato Bar.
The colored shoes and flowers the bridesmaids wore were just another reflection of the “FUN” couple. To top it all off the cookie cake and “FUNFETTI” wedding cake was a huge surprise to all the guests!!! Everyone left with huge smiles on their faces collecting their favors. The brides mom the next day emailed us…“Thank YOU for such a wonderful, beautiful, elegant, and delicious evening. It surpassed our expectations, and we expected it to be perfect!” Good Luck to Chris and Ashley you make a perfect and “FUN” couple.
