Roxanne and Daniel

10-08-16

It was such a beautiful day last Saturday I don’t think there was a cloud in the sky. It was a perfect day for a fall wedding with lots of awesome fall decorations. The arbor and ceremony site could not have looked more fabulous. The release of butterflies to represent grandparents that had passed was a real treat! Every wedding is a blending of two families, but in no situation is this mixing of families more clear than when the one (or both!) halves of the couple have children from past relationships. Over the years, we’ve seen lots of really lovely ways that some couples have chosen to include children in blended family weddings, but this one just seemed more special. There was no doubt that the bride and groom put a lot of thought into how Harrison would be included and he LOVED it! There was a lot of LOVE all the way around.

The guests enjoyed the appetizers and food stations. The Southern Martini Grits Bar was the biggest hit! It was a beautiful evening with lots of drinking, eating, and dancing. Everyone had an awesome time and a lot of nice things were said about the Carlyle House and our staff. Thanks so much for choosing us for your most important day! A huge special thanks to Julie Evans, www.urbangracephotography.com,  for many of these amazing photos!
