Welcome to the Carlyle House
The flourishing beauty of the environment this time of year, the time of passion, emotions, and love make SPRING a fabulous time to get married! Sometimes it is enough just to take a look around and observe the beauty of nature surrounding us everywhere. The pink and white Dogwoods were still in bloom, the pretty Wisteria hanging from the trees, and the red Maple tree was absolutely gorgeous! The azaleas were also very pretty! Along with all the sweet touches, Stephanie and Travis added it was a perfect day to be having a wedding in historic Norcross, Georgia! Their love for each other was as beautiful as the environment! They really make a PERFECT couple. Maria Schendzelos also did an amazing job with all the flowers, lanterns, and candles. The bagpiper was an AWESOME surprise for the guests and a perfect touch to add for the cocktail hour.
The guests all loved the filet mignon and chicken marsala. They were all having a great time, there was no mistaking that! Thanks for trusting in us, here at the Carlyle House, for your very special day!
April has brought us lots of sunshine here in historic Norcross Georgia at, The 173 Carlyle House. We’re feeling a distinct spring in our step, and have been cooing and swooning over our 2017’s spring weddings so far.
There’s something so special about spring weddings, don’t you think?
The promise of new beginnings, the incredible array of blooms, and the rare just-right temperature for an amazing wedding dress! Natalie was stunning in her dress! Ryan and Natalie could not have had a more perfect day. The weather was AWESOME, the flowers amazing, and the temperature just right. Cricket Newman Designs did an incredible job on all the bridal flowers, table arrangements, and the arbor. The Carlyle House looked just wonderful, one of the prettiest we have seen. Not to mention the adorable couple who were just perfect. We loved all their pictures they brought in from when they were in middle school together. We got lots of compliments on the food, yard, staff, and overall the entire facility. We feel very LUCKY they choose us for their special day! Many Blessings to the beautiful couple!!!
There is no fooling anyone, The Carlyle House in historic Norcross, Ga was the best place to be on April 1st! What an amazing ceremony and reception with the most beautiful couple exchanging their vows! April is a wonderful month to get married. There’s the slight chance of rain, but there’s also the blooming landscape brimming with singing birds and the smell of a fresh new spring in the air before the heat of May and June arrive. We love the promise that April holds and it didn’t let us down one bit! The Azaleas, Dogwoods, and Snowball bushes were especially amazing this year. Maria Schendzelos also did a wonderful job with all the fresh flowers. Everyone enjoyed all the yummy food, mingling with friends, and making new friends. The guests loved being able to go inside and out with the wonderful weather. It couldn’t have been a more perfect day. Thanks so much to Courtney and Tres for letting us be part of such a glorious wedding!
What an exciting Friday on the last day of March here in historic Norcross, Georgia. Eh-den and Joe signed the Ketubah, exchanged rings under the Huppah, and stomped on the glass. The couple and families were all so nice! After appetizers and drinks in the original house, everyone moved down to the ballroom for a delicious lunch.
The reception started with a blessing over the Challah. Everyone loved the Salmon Wellington & Chicken Picatta. The pasta station was also a huge hit. The cupcakes not only looked amazing but were very yummy too. Thanks so much to Eh-den and Joe for trusting us for their very special day. You guys make a great couple and thanks for the kind words below!
I just wanted to say a major thank you for everything you did for us! It could not have gone better, and we truly appreciate every minute of your help.
A wedding is one of the happiest of all special occasions families and friends can celebrate together. Being invited to share in this much anticipated day is an honor. Katy and Alex had a beautiful day and wonderful friends and family to help them celebrate.
They had the ceremony at St. Brigid Catholic Church and then headed over to the Carlyle House here in Historic Norcross. The atmosphere couldn’t have been more perfect! The decorations were amazing the spring flowers were in full bloom and it wasn’t too hot or too cold! AND…of course Chef William Janousek with the Carlyle House did a fabulous job with all the food! The cocktail hour was so yummy. Everyone loved the cheese puffs, mushrooms stuffed with crab, and the honeydew wrapped in Parma Ham. Congratulations to the beautiful couple wishing you a wonderful journey as you build your new life together! It really was the Best Day Ever here in Norcross at The 173 Carlyle House!
