Allison + Michael
What an exciting weekend we had.…Allison & Michael signed the Ketubah, exchanged rings under the Huppah, and stomped on the glass. It was a perfect day with beautiful, Sunny August weather! After appetizers and drinks in the 1800’s part of the house everyone moved down to the ballroom for more food, fun, drinks, and dancing! A great time was had by all below is a thank you note the bride sent us the next day. When we get notes like this it really reminds of why we LOVE our job. Best of Luck to the sweet couple you guys make an awesome pair!
Thank you so much for everything! The wedding — both the ceremony and the reception — was wonderful and you were such a tremendous part of it. Thank you for helping with all of the details and for being there to oversee everything. We will definitely be recommending the Carlyle House to others for their weddings!
P.S. Thank you also for your help with the chuppah, shoe glue for Mike, and my shoe issue. Those were all lifesavers!
P.P.S. My parents left their empty yarmulke basket there last night. We think it’s on the table/dresser near the back door near the parking lot. Will someone be there today if they stop by to pick it up?
Cindy & Antonio
What a simple, beautiful, wonderful wedding reception and couple. Everyone had a great time eating the yummy food, talking with all their friends, and watching the bride and groom who clearly loved each other a whole lot. Cindy had wonderful taste and everything was thought of. We loved the “Apple of my Eye” theme that was carried out throughout the reception. The guests got lots of yummy treats to take home including apples! Congratulations to Cindy and Antonio they are the apple of each other’s eyes for sure!!! :)
Ashley & Lee
What a beautiful weekend it was for a wedding. Strangely summer hasn’t been too terribly hot this year. The nights have been especially pleasant and Ashley couldn’t have been a prettier bride. The decorations she picked out were so pretty and the food was just perfect! Everyone loved the carving station and all the sides. Ashley and Lee got lots of great pictures while their guests had appetizers and drinks. A great time was had by all best of luck to Ashley and Lee! Wishing you many years of happiness. :)
Evelyn’s Birthday Party!
Yolanda knows how to throw a party! She had her wedding here 7 years ago so when it was time to plan a very special birthday party for her mom she knew where to come! We loved being part of her event and working with her again. All the decorations were just perfect, the food was enjoyed by all, the quotes on the tables were great conversation pieces. Everyone was talking about the cute wedding favors and how great they looked on the antique hutch! All of her family and friends had a great time. The next day Yolanda sent me an email telling me how much everyone loved it! We LoVE our job making wonderful memories for so many people!!! Happy Birthday Evelyn!
Mark and Kaaren
Mark and Kaaren were wonderful customers for years between the restaurant and The Carlyle House. They have had many family affairs and business dinners throughout the years. We were so happy to hear they wanted to celebrate their 50th anniversary with us!
Both of them know all about good food and their guests always look forward to any party they have. They treated their guests to a wonderful cocktail hour with delicious appetizers. BUT the main event was the 8oz Center-cut Filet Mignons with 80z Lobster tails both paired with fresh green beans with almonds and not one but two new red stuffed potatoes! Following the meal they had individual desserts plates with Key lime pie, Chocolate mousses cups, and Cheese cake. Not to mention a beautiful 50th Anniversary cake!!! All I know is Mark & Kaaren never disappoint they know how to through a party!!! Wishing them many more years of happiness! :)
