Welcome to the Carlyle House
Welcome to the Carlyle House
Kim and Brad make such a cute couple. Together with their friends and family they exchanged vows outside on a wonderful fall day. The ceremony site was beautiful with its purple accents and so was the bride!
We love Sunday weddings they just seem so relaxed! All the guests loved the cocktail hour, relaxing on the wraparound porch, and watching the kids play in the yard.
When they moved to the ballroom they couldn’t believe there was more wonderful food for them to enjoy. The guests all loved the beef tenderloin, salmon wellington, and strawberry salad. The cake and the huge cookie station were also a crowd favorite!!! There was no mistaking the LOVE between Kim and Brad. You will be able to see it in the wonderful pictures and lots of thanks to TseGallery@tsegallery.ga for some of their awesome pictures.
It was such a beautiful day last Saturday I don’t think there was a cloud in the sky. It was a perfect day for a fall wedding with lots of awesome fall decorations. The arbor and ceremony site could not have looked more fabulous. The release of butterflies to represent grandparents that had passed was a real treat! Every wedding is a blending of two families, but in no situation is this mixing of families more clear than when the one (or both!) halves of the couple have children from past relationships. Over the years, we’ve seen lots of really lovely ways that some couples have chosen to include children in blended family weddings, but this one just seemed more special. There was no doubt that the bride and groom put a lot of thought into how Harrison would be included and he LOVED it! There was a lot of LOVE all the way around.
The guests enjoyed the appetizers and food stations. The Southern Martini Grits Bar was the biggest hit! It was a beautiful evening with lots of drinking, eating, and dancing. Everyone had an awesome time and a lot of nice things were said about the Carlyle House and our staff. Thanks so much for choosing us for your most important day! A huge special thanks to Julie Evans, www.urbangracephotography.com, for many of these amazing photos!
We caught our first real glimpse of fall on Saturday and it was wonderful! What a way to kick of the first day of October! The weather could not have been more PERFECT!!! We may be a little bit biased but we think this wedding was pretty awesome.
We loved all of Katelyn and Rj’s personal touches. They really made Carlyle House their own for the day. We loved the beautiful tent, the wonderful flowers, and all the signs, especially the pallet with pictures. The wine bottles used as the guest book was our personal favorite! The guests were having so much fun and really enjoyed the food and drink. You could tell the Bride and Groom really were a great couple. Their personalities complimented each other. The guests all had a great time and told us, “It was the best food they had ever had at a Wedding.”
As we get further into September things are starting to get a little bit cooler. We host another beautiful wedding reception. The couple had a amazing band outside on the terrace and wonderful food inside. The appetizers in the original part of the house were a big hit. Everyone loved, loved, loved the Crab Cakes and Tomatoes stuffed with chicken salad. Of course the Beef Tenderloin and Salmon Wellington carved up to order were also huge hits. The guests all commented on the beautiful venue, amazing food, and wonderful atomsphere! Mary Grace + Judson make a great couple and I am sure they will have many years of happiness together! :)
Travis and Jenna
We caught our first glimpse of fall last Friday and it was wonderful! It was finally a little cooler. Jenna and Travis could not have ordered up a better day. We loved all their DIY items! We especially loved the backdrop they made for the important I DO’s! The guests enjoyed all the beverages and appetizers in the old house while looking at some old photos and making new memories for their guest book. The baked brie and chicken salad stuffed tomatoes were loved by all! :)
Everyone was even more impressed when they moved to the ballroom for a full meal with lots more beverages, yummy food, and a delicious cake! Everyone had a wonderful time and Travis and Jenna couldn’t be more perfect for each other. We know they will enjoy years of happiness together! Thanks so much to Photos by Gannon for making our post look much better. These are some amazing photos!
