Welcome to the Carlyle House
Dwayne and Julie
The best part of our job is all the amazing couples we get to meet and Dwayne and Julie were one of them. We love their story from the back of their program.…
On August 11, 2014 they met on a blind date with a little help from the World Wide Web! Their first impressions were…Julie was impressed with Dwayne’s passion for teaching and Dwayne thought Julie was nice, but a little quiet! They quickly had date two and for the next seven months spent time hiking, watching movies, running and cooking dinner together. On March 28, 2015, Dwayne surprised Julie on the Silver Comet Trail during her morning run. He proposed and she said “YES!” AND the rest is history. We know they will enjoy many years of happiness together! Thanks for trusting us to be part of your special day! :)
It is with enormous pleasure that I want to Thank all our past Brides & Grooms for all the wonderful reviews that made it possible for us to win, The Knot’s Best of Weddings Award for 2016!!!!!! This year the competition was the hardest it has ever been — only the top 2% of vendors across the country earned this honor, and we are so excited! The Knot’s Best of Weddings award is a top honor in the wedding industry and we appreciate all of you! Looking forward to lots of wonderful weddings in 2016!

Rain on your wedding day is good luck because it signifies that your marriage will last.. As you know, a knot that becomes wet is extremely hard to untie – therefore, when you “tie the knot” on a rainy day, your marriage is supposedly just as hard to unravel! That is exactly what happened with this sweet bride and groom. They didn’t let it get them down at all. I think they were just happy to be getting married! Everyone had a great time and the rain wasn’t even an issue. They loved the cocktail hour especially the Crab/Artichoke and the stuffed mushrooms. Dinner was a big success they ate lots of Roasted Ribeye, Salmon Wellington and of course as always the homemade Martini Grits Bar was a big success! There was lots of great dancing especially the farther/daughter dance, it was amazing!!! Everyone was very happy for the bride and groom, they make a great couple!
Thank you Piedmont Bank again for asking us to do the food for your Grand Opening! I know this is a huge day for you guys and we appreciate you trusting in us over and over again! We could see it was a huge success and everyone loved the bank, the food, and the chocolate fountain. Wishing you great success in the new location!
We enjoyed being part of such a wonderful organization and group of people. They were all so nice and what they are doing for kids is amazing. We got lots of wonderful complements about the food, atmosphere , and service. Below is a wonderful email we received after their event from the host!
Thank you for a wonderful evening on Saturday. Our guests loved the atmosphere and the hospitality. Multiple people spoke fondly of the quality of service they received and even how much they enjoyed the food— that’s amazing in light of an extremely crowded room and serving 210 people! You and the whole staff made for a great event which will benefit our mission to help foster kids and orphans. Also, some of your staff members even took time to ask about Promise686 which was very kind.
Thank you for working with us!
