Welcome to the Carlyle House
Amy and Kevin
What a beautiful day it was for the last weekend in January. You would have never guessed the weather would be so amazing. All the guests were able to enjoy the wraparound porch. Several took their appetizers and drinks and set outside. They all LOVED the crab cakes! The pirogues were also a huge hit.
They had a great first dance that looked like they had practiced a lot. Black Tie did a great job with the music. Everyone had a blast eating, dancing, and mingling. I am sure Sara with Sara Logan Photography got lots of get pictures along with Sean from Pursuit Wedding Films. After everyone enjoyed the food stations/buffet they had lots of choices of desserts. YUMMY…Assorted mini doughnuts, assorted bite size desserts, and wedding cake. Everyone went home full and happy. Thanks so much Amy and Kevin you guys make a GREAT couple!
We have a bride/groom that is having to move their wedding date up drastically due to a family illness. :( We now have April 23, 2016 open if anyone is interested!

It’s the most romantic time of the year, filled with hot drinks, cozy evenings, tasty treats and festive decor. And such a special season to have your wedding. We loved everything about their wedding. It was so beautiful. We loved all the pictures around the old house. We loved all the DIY items, the centerpieces with the white sticks, lighting, and cranberries , it was just enough! Everyone raved about the food espeically the Beef Tenderloin, you could cut it with a fork! The cake looked amazing and oh so yummy! The guests loved their favors, Hot Chocolate in Mason Jars with marshmallows, great idea! We wish you guys a Merry Christmas as the new Mr. and Mrs!
Our final weekend of Christmas office parties was full this weekend. We had some parties that come every year and some new ones that said they will be back again next year. We see lots of parties but the office parties really seem to have lots of meaning too! A company Christmas party provides an opportunity for employers to truly thank their employees for a job well done as Christmas is close to the end of the year. Doing just that already provides a lot of long-term benefits for the company. We want to thank DSI, Purafil, Global Connections, Solar Energy, and MedNax services all for using us again this year. We really appreciate the business!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year AND strangely enough it has been in the 70’s in Atlanta. We couldn’t resist taking some pictures of new Sunflowers popping out with the Christmas decorations in the background. Winter weddings are magical, romantic and – most importantly – budget friendly! You can reuse your venue’s own decorations and add some of your own for a fabulous affect! Jessica and Michael had such a beautiful wedding and they were real nice people to work with. We got lots of complements on the food. Everyone loved the Spankopita, Steamship of Beef, and the Salmon. They brought in a Chocolate Shell wedding cake that they broke with a hammer it was full of candy inside. It was really cool we had never seen that before. It was so fitting of the couple’s personality. We wish you many, many years of happiness together! :)
