Welcome to the Carlyle House
Welcome to the Carlyle House
Winter is a joyous time of the year and a wonderful time to get married. Don’t let cold weather scare you away from picking a Saturday in January as your wedding date. The decoration ideas are endless and a little ice and snow can’t stop us! Typically the weather is never really bad although it came close this Saturday. With some wonderful maneuvering by the bride’s mom and The Carlyle House, the wedding went off without a hitch! It couldn’t have been more pretty or perfect! With a little improvising on the time we got almost all of the guests here! The decorations were beautiful, the bride looked amazing, and the food was delicious! Everyone enjoyed the hand passed appetizers and the wonderful sit-down dinner. The assorted desserts were a big hit along with the beautiful wedding cake. The two families were AWESOME and this is one wedding we will never forget!!!
A few words from the bride’s mom….
Again, huge thanks to you and your staff. The wedding was everything Amelia dreamed of since she was about 3 years old.
Your flexibility, amazing organizational skills, nd calm, kind demeanor, made the impossible possible.
Changing to 2 was a great decision. I think we ended up losing only about 20 people. And your patience as we arranged seating was really appreciated. The table assignments worked out really well. The extra food was perfect for the after party at the hotel and will also be good at today’s final event: our open house. The after party at the hotel, complete with jigsaw puzzles, poker, uno and other games, was a huge success. Truly an incredible day which was all the more miraculous bc it truly had potential to be a
Again, thank you.
The first wedding of the year was certainly a beautiful one…what a wonderful way to start off the new year by beginning a new chapter, (or adventure as I like to call it), in this young couple’s lives! It was a late afternoon wedding followed by a beautiful reception. We loved the menu: Salmon, Chicken Marsala, Garden Salad, Roasted Red Potatoes, Corn Bread, and of course Black Eyed Peas for good luck! Everyone looked so beautiful and happy but no one shined as beautiful as the bride…of course!
We caught our first glimpse of fall last Friday and it was wonderful! It was finally a little cooler. Jenna and Travis could not have ordered up a better day. We loved all their DIY items! We especially loved the backdrop they made for the important I DO’s! The guests enjoyed all the beverages and appetizers in the old house while looking at some old photos and making new memories for their guest book. The baked brie and chicken salad stuffed tomatoes were loved by all! :)
Everyone was even more impressed when they moved to the ballroom for a full meal with lots more beverages, yummy food, and a delicious cake! Everyone had a wonderful time and Travis and Jenna couldn’t be more perfect for each other. We know they will enjoy years of happiness together! Thanks so much to Photos by Gannon for making our post look much better. These are some amazing photos!
