Jasmine and David’s Wedding
173 Carlyle House, 6-15-19
I cannot say enough good about Jasmine and David’s Wedding reception here at the 173 Carlyle House in historic Norcross!!! They first got married at St. Monica’s Catholic Church. After that, they came to the Carlyle House where they greeted all their guests out on the terrace under the arbor as they arrived! It was a perfect set up, they had the guest book and photo booth outside too. It was the best opportunity to visit (quickly) with each guest individually, give them a big hug and thank them for coming.
A receiving line might seem outdated, and it’s definitely not mandatory, but if you’re having more than two hundred guests, this is a great way to show them how much you appreciate the effort they made to come. (It makes guests feel so good when the couple acknowledges them—no one wants to feel like the couple would’ve noticed if they hadn’t come.) This was one of the easiest ways to make sure they didn’t miss any of their 220 guests! AND….it wasn’t any ordinary receiving line! So FUN!
Everything was great and SO beautiful!! We all loved Jasmine’s wedding dress and veil!! She was exquisite and let us not forget the groom… he looked handsome too! Everyone enjoyed the indoor/outdoor area, the FOOD, the ice-cream cart, the FUN, and lots more. The wedding guests had a great time at this wedding. We heard lots of people saying how FUN it was. There was no way this couple was having a boring wedding reception! They are two of the most FUN people and everyone was excited about the reception!
